This painting is part of an ongoing investigation of self-love and disco culture.  With my hand-painted works, each nuance of brushwork, texture, and technique is visible on the canvas surface. The lively texture of the acrylic paint contrasts with the holographic mosaic. I intended the mirrors to allow the viewer to see themselves as a part of the visual narrative.
